Board report for Apache UIMA, for June 2019.

Apache UIMA's mission: the creation and maintenance of open-source software
related to the analysis of unstructured data, guided by the UIMA Oasis
Standard.

## PMC changes:

 - Currently 16 PMC members.
 - No new PMC members added in the last 3 months
 - Last PMC addition was Lou DeGenaro on Mon May 02 2016

## Committer base changes:

 - Currently 25 committers. 
 - Last new committer: Viorel Morari was added as a committer on Thu Sep 20 2018 

## Releases:

 3 releases in the last quarter:
 - 10 April 2019: UIMA Java SDK 3.0.2 (the core component)
 - 16 April 2019: uimaFIT 3.0.0 - the first release of uimaFIT supporting the core version 3 level
 - 26 April 2019: DUCC 3.0.0 - a major update to the scaleout software supporting running on clusters

Activity:
  The DUCC release included a fix for a CVE issue.
  UIMA DUCC project working on multiple fixups/cleanups following the 3.0.0 release. 
  The core UIMA Java SDK working on minor cleanups and bug fixes for some edge cases.
  
Community: The community continues to be moderately active; some new contributors doing patches.

Issues: No Board level issues at this time.
